I fell in love with these Mookaite stones. This is usually not a stone I am drawn to. However, the combination of colors and shape yelled “Pick Me”. So I did.
Here I am selecting accent stones. It is a selection based on color, size and stone properties. And sometimes these stones get changed as I am making the piece. Because of the way I design, there is always a bit of flexibility built in so adjustments can be made as the piece begins to come together.
Once I have the initial pairings, these stones are packaged together until I am ready to create the piece.
This piece was the start of the Singular by Dona line. This colletion has been bubbling around in my mind for sometime. I am thrilled to finally be bringing it to life.
