FAQs – Frequently Asked Questions and More
What metals do you use in your work?
I mainly work in Argentium Silver .930 and Fine Silver .999. (Traditional Sterling Silver is .925). I prefer working with Argentium and Fine silver for their brighter color and their work-ability. I accent some of my work with copper and gold (14K and 22K).
Our silver is recycled silver.
Why is your silver work marked .925?
We mark all of our silver work .925. Most people are familiar with the .925 marking and since our work is of a higher silver content it meets and exceeds the requirement of the .925 hallmark.
What type of stones do you use?
I use natural stones in my work. The stones are either left in their natural state, polished, cut into cabochon or faceted. The stones are purchased through a number of high quality resources and many of the unique stones are found and cut by independent artists.
